This would also cause increases of rejection in book sales as well. Therefore, from the perspective of overall supply chain, its effectiveness was regrettably lowered. In the case of convenient store, it often promotes all kinds of self-service items to attract consumer attention plus the year-round 24X7 passageway which has already become an indispensible item in the daily life of everyone. Since introduction of Multimedia Services machine at 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, Hi-Life convenient stores, this machine provides services like return goods processing, procurement in advance, fee collection and bills handling through e-commerce with consistent growth in revenue in addition to seeking innovations and breakthroughs along the way. Hence, this research will explore in the area of using Multimedia Services machines at convenient stores besides using AHP as the assessment guidelines for creating new services through publication structures. And this thesis also would explore which service belongs to what type of innovation basing upon the proposed guidelines of seven types in innovation. This research adopted FamilyMart as research subject and through interviews and observations on Multimedia Services machine, this research proposed relevant assessment factors including three profiles like "logistics system", "commercial flow mechanism" and "e-service". Within each profile, it has three assessment guidelines and there are nine of them in total. From research findings via AHP, "commercial flow mechanism" is the current focal point profile, successively followed by "logistics system" and "e-service". Within nine assessment guidelines, the top-priority would be "pick-up goods", followed by "payment mechanism" and "purchase in advance". According to innovation category, the summarized findings are that "pick-up goods" belongs to extend of service, and "payment mechanism" is more to the side of service innovation, "purchase in advance" belongs to extend of service and acts as reference for owner''s decision making purpose so as to reach the goal of ultimate innovation.
