The purposes of the study were to explore the effect and the contribution of the Recorder Class affiliating with Nanjhuang Presbyterian Church in Miaoli.
Firstly, according to the theme of this study, collecting the related literature and exploring the history of the prevalent recorder in the Renaissance, the impetus to Taiwanese and the essential factor of musical textbooks in Taiwan elementary schools.
Secondly, introducing the location of Nanjhuang Township , the time of the Christian religion , the history and the present situation of Nanjhuang Presbyterian Church and the history of the recorder to support the study.
Then exploring the foundation of the recorder class and developing many musical organizations or specific civic organizations, such as, women chorus, Nanjhuang specific civic organization and etc.. Interviews are used to understand the development and the effect to Nanjhuang Township and orientated the recorder on musical education.
Based on the finding of this study, suggestions are provided and looking forward to the recorder class being helpful to Nanjhuang future.
