There are 8 works include, “Two would treat each other”, “Day a good that is all right”, “Be in the same boat”, “Dream of impermanence”, “Spirit dreaming conjuration”,”Spell to shift mountains and overturn seas”, “Never relax morning and night” , and “The blind men and the street”. The characteristics of Wu's works after 2000 include narrative presentation, magic pattern , incomplete bodies, ethnic dance, uncanny atmosphere, and ghost belief. The first part of this thesis tries to analyze Wu's works with his growing background. Discussing the motivation of his politics, passion as well as death and Taiwanese local motives in his works by interviews. The second part of this thesis deals with horror and grotesque style in Wu's works and a comparison between Wu's and Witkin's works.The third part of this thesis contains the aesthetic analysis of represented abnormalities, ridiculous forms, allegorical stories, and magic power of spells find out their meanings.
