By following the process of “planning-execution-reflection-revision” of an action research, it examined the effects of constructive curation-based curriculum on the attitude of students in the upper elementary grades towards art, in order to seek the possibility of changing their artistic attitude. Constructive curation-based curriculum focuses on modifying curation-based curriculum with constructivism. Its curriculum design allows students to play the principal role in the teaching and learning process, and to actively construct knowledge and achieve study goals through actual curating activities. The teacher and student will make a joint effort, in this actual curation situation, to construct an art exhibition and humanities class that is of great interest to the students. A student curating team, the kind similar to an art organization or institution, can be established in the school setting, to facilitate their study. By conducting an action research, this study attempted to combine “curation” with “constructivism”, and to apply a constructive teaching strategy to an integrated curation-based art education program. Furthermore, it constantly reflected on and revised the curriculum design, adjusted the teaching activities, enhanced the teaching techniques, and evaluated the effects of the teaching. Through this reflection and revision process, a change in the students’ attitude towards art was gained. The following are the findings of this study: 1.The development of the constructive curation-based curriculum must be a continuous process, and carried out under the joint efforts of both the teachers and students. 2. The constructive teaching strategy is base on the principle of promoting students’ self learning and cooperative learning. It must be adjusted constantly according to the students’ response. Then, it can assist and promote students to learn actively. 3.The constructive curation-based curriculum can promote the attitude towards art of the elementary school students, and the learning results. 4. The students were satisfied with the “constructive curation-based curriculum”. Finally, based on the results of this study, the researcher gave recommendations for the implementation of such curriculum as well as related studies in the future.
