By analyzing the different background variables of elementary school teachers, the impact as the future development of principal's paternalistic leadership and decreasing the working pressure of teachers of reference. This study adopted research methodologies of literature review and questionnaire survey. The research instrument was a questionnaire, self-edited by the researcher, entitled “The Relationship Between Elementary Principal's Paternalistic Leadership and The Working Pressure of Teachers Satisfaction Questionnaire”. The subjects were the teachers in elementary schools in Hsinchu city. The researcher sent 700 questionnaires, and received 560 responses. There were 554 valid responses; therefore the response rate was 79%. All the quantitative data was analyzed by SPSS/12 version. The research findings could be concluded as below: 1. Paternalistic leadership score of Hsinchu city elementary principal is above the level. 2. Working pressure score of Hsinchu city elementary teachers is lower the level. 3. Principal's paternalistic leadership was affected by age and school size. 4. The working pressure of teachers was affected by age, seniority, job and school size. 5. Elementary principal's paternalistic leadership could predict working pressure of teachers in various dimensions. According to the research conclusion, the researcher proposed Nine recommendations for Educational administrative bodies and elementary principals as the future development of principal's paternalistic leadership and the decreasing of the working pressure of teachers of reference.
