If we can understand the source of perceived job stress, we can make appropriate management recommendations. Psychological capital deals with ones’ psychological development situation. Job stress coping deals with how people deal with job stress. In this study, two kind of job stress coping are studied; that is, the problem-focused coping and the emotion-focused coping. Thus, this study focused on exploring the relationships among psychological capital, job stress coping and job stress. The research samples of this study come from colonel and lieutenant-level officers. There were 600 copies of questionnaire sent to the military officers and 475 samples were valid. The valid samples were analyzed by structural equation model using LISREL software. The results showed that: 1. Psychological capital is negatively related to job stress. 2. Psychological capital is positively related to the problem-focused coping and the emotion-focused coping. 3. The problem-focused coping and the emotion-focused coping is negatively related to job stress. 4. The problem-focused coping and the emotion-focused coping has partial mediating effect on the relationship between Psychological capital and job stress.
