This shift will substantially affect the ROC’s current force deployment, size and structure. The Concept of “Deny enemy landing and setting footholds” is the result of sovereignty battle. Defense Position and Geometry Theory believes that if the victory is determined by the size of land lost in the battle, the location of striking force deployed is the key to win the battle. The existing land combat adjudication model appraises the force structure and size adjustment based on the attrition rates. This model is required to assess the force deployment, size and structure at the same time. The ROC’s ground forces needs to discard the outdated war of attrition concept and build a better land combat adjudication model. This study will incorporate Defense Position and Geometry Theory in Quantified Judgement Model to build a tool to assess force deployment, size and structure of the army forces at the same time. Based on the result of this study, Defense Position and Geometry Theory can provide the best suggestion of ideal force deployment to the striking forces. Yet the Quantified Judgement Model can be used to assess the force structure and size adjustment. Menq JAU-JEU Lu TA-SHENG 孟昭宇 劉達生 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 183 zh-TW |
