By using cross-sectional design, the data were recruited from a medical center and「SLE AID Group of R.O.C」. The data were collected through using the questionnaires, including The MOS Short Form-12 Health Survey (SF-12)、 Perceived Benefit of Action、Barriers Scale、Medical Outcomes Study: Social Support Survey Instrument (MOS-SSS)、General Self-Efficacy and Health-Promoting Lifestyle Π (HPLP Π), There were 105 subjects returned questionnaires, respondent rate 100%. Five subject did not fill the questionnaires completely. A total of 100 were valid questionnaires. Data was analyzed by SPSS 14.0 for Windows. The major statistical procedures, descriptive statistics、t-test、ANOVA analysis、Pearson correlation、multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. The results were summarized as follows: 1. Most of the participants considered their health statuses as average. 2. age and years of illness were positively related to health-promoting behavior. 3. There were a positive relationship to social support with health promoting behavior, and a negative relationship perceived barriers of action and self-efficacy. 4. Age, years of illness, perceived barriers, social support and self-efficacy are important factors of health-promoting behavior in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. These predictors explained 28.3% of the total variance for health-promoting behavior. Of the research, social support was the most powerful predictor of health-promoting behavior and accounted for 16.1% of the total variance for health-promoting behavior. The result of this research may contribute toward understand how to apply Pender’s model in describing health-promoting behavior in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. It can be used as a basis when planning appropriate intervention. Kao chi wen 高啟雯 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 111 zh-TW
