Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 教育行政與管理學系 === 98 === The main purpose of this study is to realize the current staffing and selection system of the director of general affairs in primary schools, to figure out the connectedness between the training program of the director of general affairs and its application in their future careers and to study the roles and responsibilities of the director of general affairs. The main research method of this study is the multi-site interview. It is based on the results of the literature reviews to propose the protocols of the interview. In-depth interviews with 7 principals and directors of general affairs are conducted in primary schools. Finally, conclusions and suggestions are summarized through detail discussions according to the results of interviews and analysis of literature reviews. The main conclusions of the study are as followings. For the staffing, selection and training system of the director of general affairs in primary schools: The qualifications of the director of general affairs in the codes of the staffing, selection and training system are not properly defined and regulated. More refinements of the codes need to be finished. The staffing, selection and training system of the director of general affairs do not meet the requirement of the qualified the director of general affairs. For the content and training hours of the staffing, selection and training system of the director of general affairs in primary schools: The amount of knowledge in practice should be included more in curriculum planning of the training program of the director of general affairs. The requirement evaluation about curriculum planning of the training program of the director of general affairs should be planned in advance. Apprenticeship training method should be included in the training program of the staffing, selection and training system of the director of general affairs. Those who are newly appointed or transferred to be the director of general affairs might have their own special needs in the training program of the staffing, selection and training system of the director of general affairs. Therefore, to satisfy them should be one of the major concerns in curriculum planning. For the roles and responsibilities of the director of general affairs in primary schools: The teaching hours of the director of general affairs should be adjusted fairly according to the scale of the school. There is no section chief in any school less than 12 classes that makes the work loading of the director of general affairs too heavy. There should be one specialized and professional unit in charge of the business of the Office of General Affairs.
