Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 土木與水資源工程學系研究所 === 98 === The objective of this study is to develop a vicoelastic numerical model for soil consolidation due to groundwater table deoression in multilayered aquifer systems. In this study, based on Biot’s viscoelastic theory and the concept of significant differences of permeability and compressibility between aquifer and aquitard, the governing equations, initial conditions, boundary conditions, and connection conditions between layers are first derived with taking the body force into account. The body force number and the viscosity number, representing the effects of body force and viscous force, are then obtained by nondimensionalizing governing equation. The numerical model is developed using the finite difference method, and is verified by hypothetical cases with analytical solutions. The simulated results from the steady-state and transient test cases show that the soil consolidation is strong affected by the body force number and the viscosity number.
