Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 家庭教育與諮商研究所 === 98 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences and relationships of self-efficacy, coping strategies and depression among with adolescents. The information of this study is collected through questionnaires. The applied methods include Self-Efficacy Scale, Coping Strategies Scale and Depression Scale. The survey samples consist of 461 students from eight junior high schools. The obtained data are analyzed by descriptive statistics, one-way MANOVA, Pearson correlation, one-way ANOVA and regression analysis. The major findings are: 1.The more self-efficacy made the lower depression; the more coping strategies made the same results on depression. 2. The self-efficacy and coping strategies didn’t make interactive affection on depression. 3. Emotional and academic self-efficacy, and escape-avoidance of coping strategies lead to the prediction of depression. Based on the findings, suggestions are made for family education and counseling of junior high school students, and future research.
