Summary:博士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 國民教育研究所 === 98 === The purpose of this study is to explore the education quality of the graduate institutes of education administration in Taiwan. This research adopts document analysis and questionnaire survey to achieve the research purpose. The researcher analyzed the meaning of education quality, education quality evaluation mechanism, measurement of education quality and related theories to design the questionnaire. This research surveyed 11 graduate institutes of education administration in Taiwan, the conclusions are as follows: 1. The education quality of the graduate institutes of education administration in Taiwan is excellent. 2. It is appropriate for the graduate institutes of education administration in Taiwan to use the results of department/graduate program evaluation and the projects’ material analysis results of the National Science Council in Taiwan to measure their education quality. 3. The identities of the graduate institutes of education administration in Taiwan, including ages, public or private, have no significant difference for their education quality. 4. The more students the graduates institutes of education administration in Taiwan have, the higher perception of “the administration quality”, “the teaching quality”, “the service quality” and “the overall quality” the students performed. 5. The male’s perception of “the administration quality” for the education quality of the graduate institutes of education administration in Taiwan is higher than the female’s. 6. The perception of the education quality of the graduate institutes of education administration in Taiwan is not affected by ages. 7. The teachers’ perception of “the research quality” is higher than alums’. Also, their perception of “the overall quality” is higher than students’ and alums’. 8. Institute of Educational Administration in this study estabilsh about 6-10 years, fewer students, students getting younger and female majority. 9. Subjects in this study response with high degree of cohesion and evaluation of the Institute of Educational Administration which they belong, but there are a few Institute of Educational Administration have high evaluation standards, base on the social and self expectations.
