Used Penwei NO.1 preservative reduce the bend of scape and the vase life increased to 8 - 9 days. Waterlily cut flower was tested in this study to investigate the effects of seasons, storage temperature and dry, wet storage on vase life of cut flower. Waterlily harvested in March to December used Penwei NO.1 preservative caused 7.4 – 8.6 days of vase life, but no significant difference between each season. Storage at 7.5 ℃, 10 ℃, 12.5 ℃. and 25 ℃ in one week used wet storage, the bend of scape of waterlily cut flower was higher then 90° and petal and calyx had decayed. Stored at 7.5 ℃ in wet storage, cut flower had chilling injury that was scape soften and color changed to green, and the bend of scape was higher then 90°, so it didn’t have vase life. Used Penwei NO.1 preservative, vase life stored at 10 ℃ was 8.5 days longer then stored at 12.5 ℃ (7.0 days), and cut flower stored at 10 ℃ had heavy fresh weight, shorter scape elongation, kept the stems straight, and higher respiration rate, so waterlily cut flower stored at 10 ℃ is the best. Used Penwei NO.1 preservative, vase life stored at 12.5 ℃ in dry storage was 8.4 days longer then stored in wet storage (7.0 days), and it was significant. Used Penwei NO.1 preservative, vase life stored at 10 ℃ in dry storage was 9.8 days longer then stored in wet storage (8.5 days), but it was not significant. Dry storage had heavier fresh weight, kept the stem straight, higher respiration rate, and higher total soluble sugar contents and starch contents then wet storage.
