Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 水生生物科學系研究所 === 98 === The Babylonia areolata is a new important commercial species cultured for recent years in Taiwan. Many factors are involved in juvenile growth and survival, salinity, density, feed, temperature and culture Conditions. This study are aim to understand on the affects of temperature and salinity on hatching rate of egg capsule, larvae survival rate and metamorphosis、juvenile growth and food consumption rate of spotted babylon (Babylonia areolata). It shows that the hatching rate of egg capsule on 23℃treatment is significant lower than 26℃, 29℃ and 32℃ treatments. The larvae survival rate and metamorphosis rate of 26℃ are higher than 29℃ treatment, and no significant in 32℃ and 23℃ treatment, respectively. There are significant different of temperature and salinity affects on hatching rate of egg capsule, larvae survival rate and metamorphosis of spotted babylon. The effects of temperature and salinity on growth and survival of juvenile spotted babylon, B.areolata, were investigated by rearing snails at combinations of temperatures (20, 24, 28 and 32℃) and salinity (16, 22, 28 and 34‰) for six weeks with feeds. The results showed that the growth and survival of juvenile on temperature 24~28℃and salinity 25~35‰ treatment is significant best than temperature 20 and 32℃ treatment. The B. areolata juvenile could grow well at high temperature 28℃.Temperature factor on the growth of juvenile snail were significantly higher than the salinity. In the feed, It shows that the metamorphosis of larval on feeding Isochrysis galbana tml treatment are higher significant than Tetraselmis chui and Nannochloropsis oculata treatment. The results showed that the growth and survival of juvenile on feeding shrimp treatment are higher than fish treatment. In daily food consumption rate, daily food consumption rate is 3.6~4.4% of body weight at temperature 28℃and salinity 25~35‰ , 3.3~4.1% of body weight at 24℃, 2.0~1.2% of body weight at 20℃, the results showed the decreasing of daily food consumption rate was the trend toward the temperature drop.
