Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 電機工程學系 === 98 === Due to the trend of digitization and the growth Internet, multimedia is very easy to be interfered or tempered. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a process to protect the integrity of multimedia content. The MPEG-2 video standard is very popular, and many digital media such as DVD disks use MPEG-2 as codec (coder and decoder). In order to authenticate MPEG-2 video integrity, this paper proposes a digital fragile watermarking with post-compression and authentication. The proposed method embeds the watermark bit into each 8 8 DCT block. That is, the proposed watermarking method selects last non-zero coefficient and the watermark bit, and then calculates the number of odd coefficient of 8 8 DCT block to extract the watermark bit in the decoding stage. Experimental results implemented on MPEG-2 codec (Test Model 5) show that the watermarking algorithm not only achieves authentication but also decreases the memory space of video stream with slightly degrading video quality.
