The popularity of E-Book is cause by its practical, content and price competitiveness in order to change reader’s reading habit. However, the market response is not as good as a lot of major companies thought when they have tried to attempt to E-Book’s market. Industry analysts point out that it will still be a while for people to accept the idea of E-Book due to the price, content, technology, and consumer’s reading habit, privacy and other factors. This thesis analyses of relevant literature by using Delphi method. By inviting 12 of experts, professors and sales managers who are in charge of sales of the E-Book; I had interviews them and also did three times of survey by using Delphi method. Gathering all the information related on E-Book, also take useful suggestions, point of view, and ideas from those experts. After analyzing the data, taking suggestions from the experts, I came out with 7 factors of [The factors of how to success increasing the demand of E-Book market]. The factor of the price – what the cost is to download a book; The factor of content – the contain of the book selections; The factor of demand – the participate of major hardware and software vendors; The factor of publisher – the participate of publisher if they want to publish electronic books; The factor of product – the actual reading time of one fully charged battery; The factor of market – the profit for the publisher to publish E-Book; The factor of politics – government and its education program’s new E-Book backpack policy for middle school and elementary students; Total of seven factors. I hope to find the key factors of success increasing the demand of E-Book market, and to understand if the E-Book product is mature enough for the public to accept. Also hope to give the E-Book vendors or future vendors reference of planning, understanding the market demand so they can improve their product base on my thesis.
