Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 會計學系企業高階管理 === 98 === The purpose of this study is to explore the medical staff’s satisfaction on the staff dormitory as the basis of improving dormitory management and counseling aspect in order to elevate the medical staff’s dormitory quality and satisfaction in a teaching hospital. The research adopted questionnaire to do data collection; a total of 400 copies of questionnaire were issued; there were 334 copies of effective questionnaire, and the return rate was 83.5%. Based on the data, the methods of description analysis, item analysis, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA analysis, and regression analysis were used to test and verify the research’s hypothesis. Results of statistical analyses provided important factors of influence as follows:
1. Dormitory cleanness has a significant positive relationship with medical staff’s dormitory satisfaction. Hence, improving the dormitory environment’s cleanness and quality can boost medical staff’s dormitory satisfaction.
2. Dormitory hardware facilities have a significant positive relationship with medical staff’s dormitory satisfaction. Therefore, increasing the hardware facilities that the medical staff need, as well as the dormitory convenience and functionality will be helpful for bettering medical staff’s dormitory satisfaction.
3. Dormitory software facilities have a significant positive influence on medical staff’s dormitory satisfaction. As a result, providing relevant considerate software facilities, so that, the medical staff can feel the convenience and familiarity as if at home, will be helpful for elevating medical staff’s dormitory satisfaction.
4. Dormitory living counseling has a significant positive relationship with medical staff’s dormitory satisfaction. Therefore, offering the medical staff dormitory life counseling, paying attention to the medical staff’s lodging situation and mental and physical conditions at any time, and appropriately providing the medical staff relevant consulting service can boost medical staff’s dormitory satisfaction.
5. Among the overall feeling question items of dormitory satisfaction, the rate of returning to live, the rate of continuing to live, and increasing occupancy rate have a significant positive relationship, which means the medical staff have a high desire of considering to live in the hospital dormitory again, the medical staff that already live in the dormitory have a high rate of being willing to continue to live in the hospital dormitory, they are willing to introduce friends and family members to live in, and they are willing to advertise for the dormitory, with the benefit of increasing the quantity of occupancy and profit.
