碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 積體電路設計研究所 === 98 === The thesis consists of two sections, the first we designed an
up-conversion mixer for Ultra Wide Band Wireless System (UWB), the
frequency is 3~5GHz, the linearity of the mixer is enhanced by improving the
double-balance Gilbert mixer structure to abate the second harmonic
distortion. Current-reused bleeding technique is used to reduce the power of
the mixer.
The second is an up-conversion mixer for Worldwide Interoperability for
Microwave Access (WiMAX), the operating frequency is conformed to
International Fixed Wireless Access (IFWA) of 3.4~3.7 GHz. The structure of
the mixer also used Double-balance Gilbert Mixer, and combined with
Dynamic Current Technique to achieve high gain and low power.
We used TSMC 0.18μm technology process to realize these circuits.
