Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 特殊教育學系所 === 98 === The purpose of the study was to know how special education class teachers were satisfied with the teaching and administration of physical education in special education classes in the elementary and junior high schools in Changhua County. The questionnaire survey method was used in this study. The major findings are following: 1. Special education class teachers in the elementary and junior high schools were inclined to feel satisfied with the teaching and administration of P.E. Among all the phases, it showed a higher satisfaction level in phases of “P.E. curriculums and material design”, “class management”, and “interaction with co-workers”. 2. In the variable of individual background, the analysis revealed that teachers showed different levels of satisfaction significantly in view of teachers’ gender, educational level, educational background, P.E. professional background, age, and years as special education class teachers. 3. In the special education classes in Changhua County, there are few teachers who are not P.E.-relative major but qualified or certificated as sports contestants, coaches, and referees. 4. No more than half of special education class teachers have ever taken any courses of Adapted P.E. or attended any workshops related to Adapted P.E. Though the result showed that most special class teachers felt satisfied with the current situation, the researcher thought it was still necessary to improve the parts with low satisfaction. Therefore, the researcher provided some constructive suggestions for the educational authorities, school administration, teachers in special education class, and future researchers.
