Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 物理學系 === 98 === English Abstract This study aims at probing into the vocational high school students who carry on the scientific contest to compare if their 'scientific attitude ',’the integrated scientific process skills ' and ' physical knowledge ' have changed or not before and after the activity. This study adopts the quasi-experiment study to analyze. This study subjects are one Taichung vocational high school 10th graders in the daytime and in the night school. We utilize the classroom time of five weeks to implement the scientific competitions. By making use of the learning sheets designed by the researcher, the interview data, we analyze the study effects. Pre-test and after-test are used to analyze their scientific attitude scale, integrated scientific process skills scale and physical knowledge achievement test for quantitative analysis. The descriptive statistics ways are adopted to find out the difference between each item , By using interdependent sample t-test to give the vocational high school students in daytime and night school the pre-test and after-test. At last, using the independent sample t-test, we compare the progressive marks between the daytime and the night school students. The following results are found after the vocational high school students in daytime and night school students carrying on the scientific contests: First, the scientific attitudes are improved both in the daytime and night school students. Second, in the integrated scientific process skills test, we find that 'the control variables, ' explaining the data ', ' forming the hypothesis ' and ‘making the operating type definition ,the daytime and night school students both make progress in the comparison between the pre-test and the after-test. But in the ' experiment ' activity, there is no significant difference between the pre-test and the after-test. Third, comparing the progressive marks between the daytime and the night school students in the ' scientific attitudes ' we find that in the ‘scientific attitude' and in the ' attitudes towards probing activity ', the night school students perform better than those of the daytime students. Instead, in the attitude to experiment ' the daytime students are superior to the night school students. Fourth, it does not have obvious difference in the progressive marks of five kinds of 'integrated scientific process skills between the daytime and the night school students. Fifth, in the comparison between the progressive marks of the daytime and the night school students in the ' achievement test 'which includes various physical knowledge, we find that there are significant difference in the following six items, including ' centroid and centroid movement ', ' frictional force ', ' Newton the third movement law ', 'quiet equilibrate strengths ', ' strength and acceleration ' and ' total points ',etc.
