It is not convenient to supply electric power at remote districts or mountain area. The proposed method uses a stand-alone Photovoltaic system, supercapacitos and battery to supply power. The energy stores in supercapacitors and battery. The maximum power tracking control is achieved with MPPT for Photovoltaic Power Systems. The energy control strategy is implemented to manage power stored in supercapacitors and battery. An Effective Algorithm extends the system life with Priority Selection charging/discharging supercapacitor first. The power demand is supplied by supercapacitors alternatively. The battery power is used only in case of there is no power in supercapacitors. The proposed method reduces battery size and extends battery life by introduce the supercapacitors.
