In addition, the study also tries to examine if the leisure cognition of cyclists would affect their environmental perceptions that might influence the behavior intention. The study uses a structured-direct questionnaire as a survey instrument. Through using convenience sampling in the Cycling route of Taichung, the study obtains 194 valid samples. Several statistical techniques, such as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis, are applied to describe the results and examine the research hypotheses. The research applies depth interviews on 8 cyclists and the shopkeeper to obtain qualitative data. Based on the results, the study proposes five conclusions as followings: 1. Cyclists have high agreement to the leisure cognition of self-growth, exercising and releasing pressure, freedom, social identity, and environmental protection,. Cyclists agree the cognition of environmental protection the most. Cyclists at different ages and education will have different satisfactions on leisure cognition. 2. About environmental perception, cyclists are satisfied with the physical environment the most, while they are dissatisfied with the surrounding service the most. There are differences in sex, age, education, marriage, riding time, and riding frequency of different cyclists. 3. The leisure cognition and the environmental perception are significantly correlated. The environmental perception and the behavior intention are significantly correlated. 4. The suggestion is to provide cyclists’ safety education to improve their leisure cognition and the concept of right of way. There should be improved surrounding service(eg. restrooms and restaurants), route repair(eg, pavement and wooden bridges), and route arrangement(eg. warnings and marking) to promote cyclists’ the environmental perception and the revisiting will. 莊翰華 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 126 zh-TW |
