Samples were randomly selected for this survey among parents who practice cross-district enrollment in Taichung County School District’s elementary schools. Questionnaires used in this survey is from "Taichung County elementary school students studying factors for cross-district survey".The questionnaire included two major pipelines which are the factors affecting cross-district student and the school information available to parents. Questionnaires are prepared with literature analysis, expert examination and preparation of pre-trial questionnaires and then collecting the pre-trial questionnaire data for analysis and complete a formal questionnaire. A total number of 450 cross-district school parents are randomly selected from 10 Taichung County elementary schools, collecting of 404 in the rate of 89.7% responsive survey, 404 valid questionnaires of useful survey of 100%. Data are analyzed by computer and studied by descriptive statistics, item analysis, factor analysis, ANOVA analysis, mean differences testing and post hoc comparison by Scheffé method. In this study, the following findings: 1. The most important factor that affect elementary school students attending is the school environment and equipment, followed by the school characteristics and school performance. 2. The parents received information primarily through observation of students’ overall performance in the school. 3. Female parent has better sense in “School Characteristic and School Performance” 4. Parents with high-school level educational background were significantly more recognize to “School Culture and Traditions” than parents with college or above education background. 5. Parents with home management occupational background were significantly more recognize to “School Culture and Traditions” than parents with military and government agency occupational background. 6. Parents work in Taichung County were significantly more recognize to “School Director’s Leadership and school management” than parents work in other place.
