Main research subjects are vocational high school electrical technology students in Taiwan.The study adopted stratified random sampling method and used 1,389 samples to collect data. The number of collected questionnaires was 1,299, with a return rate of 87.23%. In spite of invalid data, there was 1,033 valid ones. The hypotheses of this research were examined the following statistical methods including percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé’s comparison, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation with analysis and discussion to obtain conclusions.The following are the results of the study: 1.The learning motivation and learning satisfaction of students in electrical technology department on their lab courses did best on the aspect of “expecting to success” about learning motivation, while it did best on the aspect of “peer relationship” about learning satisfaction. 2.As to the learning motivation of students on their courses, there were significant differences in terms of grades, lab courses’ scores, wish for further education or emploment. 3.As to the learning satisfaction of students on their courses, there were significant differences in terms of grades, lab courses’ scores, wish for further education or emploment. 4.There was a significant positive correlation between learning motivation and learning satisfaction of vocational high school students in electrical technology department on their lab courses.Based on the results of this study, it provided a number of suggestions for teachers, vocational high schools, educational administration authorities, and further researches.
