碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 網路學習科技研究所 === 98 === The General Guidelines of Grade 1-9 Curriculum of Elementary and Junior High School Education of the Ministry of Education emphasis that the goal of Elementary and Junior High School is to culture students basic English communication skills, to use in the real world, instead of the goal of careers in the past. However, in Taiwan, English is a Foreign Language, students’ lack of the environment to speaking English. The elementary class size is too large, too. It''s difficult for the teacher to improve students'' speaking ability. Therefore, we design two kinds of learning activities, individual speaking and interactive speaking, and a system to promote students speaking ability. We hope that making animation by students themselves can improve students'' learning motivation. After experiment the result showed that ”individual speaking” will strongly effect the learning achievement, because in this activity students will think by themselves; students have more interesting on “interactive speaking”, they can ask their partner, every student perform better. In the future, the use of animation will strongly effect the performance, and have relationship with learning achievement, encourage students to learn much better in English speaking effectively.
