Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 資訊工程研究所 === 98 === A number of researches have been performed to integrate paper and digital documents to support an integrative learning environment. However, most of them did not address the issue that learners are difficult to navigate through different resources while still engaging with the primary flow of the learning process. The goal of this thesis is to develop a system called DroidLearn to augment paper-textbook with mobile phone and integrate multiple learning resources into a hypertextual system. As a hypertextual system, DroidLearn enables learners to anchor on a document and refer to, collect, manage and organize information from different hypertext documents. A phone-and-paper interface was designed to bridge the gap between learners, paper textbooks and mobile phones and to offer a good user experience of interacting with multiple documents. To assess the effect of the system, we conducted a user evaluation study. The results of this study provide evidence that DroidLearn significantly enhances learning performance as well as user satisfaction.
