Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 資訊工程研究所 === 98 === Two issues were found in using Protege-OWL API to develop a surveillance system: 1) the reasoning ability of Pellet integrated with the system has its limits, 2) unsatisfactory performance that cannot react to environment immediately in real time. We proposed replacing Protege-OWL API with OWL API to facilitate integrating Pellet with the system seamlessly. Finally, there are ten test cases showing that integration with OWL API is 14 times faster than before in velocity.
