Yang Shou-yu is the writer who has been experiencing era before and after World War II. His works reflects life phenomena, by presenting the historical society, and his fantasy imagination, in front of the reader. The paper is structured according to Yang Shou-yu''s literary characteristics. By his autobiographical, provincialism, criticalness, this constructed Yang Shou-hui three main literary world. Paper will categorize his works’ topic and analyst its content characteristic, as to understand Yang Shou-yu’s personal experience, interpersonal attitudes, literary impact and other issues. In particular, exploring his attitude to life from the autobiographical; the sorrow situation of the female character from the provincialism, the impact of the geographical environment to the literature, and the local language which enriched the literary characteristics; furthering to the critical features of the ruling class of capitalists and criticism of religious superstition, colonial policy, labor issues and blind faith. With Yang Shou-yu’s three characteristics of the literary world, it reflects the concept of the literary and moral values of his personality and literary connotation, Yang Shou-yu''s literature reflects the combination of human and literary, care for the vulnerable and critique realistic, keen observation of social issues, embrace his ideal with a firm mind, written down the era of misery.
