The purpose of this study is to effectively utilize the limited resources of the enterprise and reduce unnecessary waste in order to achieve maximum profit for the enterprise. The manufacturing-oriented enterprise, when adopting the MRP production management, often encounters practical limitations and difficulties. The objective of this study is to reduce costs and increase the flexibility of the enterprise’s resource utilization through the integration of JIT and MRP, as well as the employment of systems tools. The semiconductor industry is crucial in Taiwan as it has been the most important driving force behind Taiwan’s economic development. Faced with global competition, the semiconductor industries in Taiwan are confronted with the challenge of industry upgrade. The study is based on the example of a semiconductor company in Taiwan, where qualitative research methods such as in-depth interviews and data collection are applied for the integrated development of MRP and JIT, as well as systems tools, thereby generalizing plausible methods for integrating JIT and MRP as the conclusion to this study.
