Mainstreaming involves ensuring that gender perspectives and attention to the goal of gender equality are central to all activities - policy development, research, advocacy dialogue, legislation, resource allocation, and planning, implementation and monitoring of programs and projects. In Taiwan, the job related position of men and women is getting more and more equal to each other and the rate of women working in high-tech industry is increasing as well. But how is the real situation of their job satisfaction? Job satisfaction is a key factor of evaluating organizational performance, but we can rarely find surveys, analyses or measurement of female’s job satisfaction especially in Taiwan. The main purpose of this study is to show the importance of sexual statistics for eliminating sexual discrimination and improving sexual research, so that a fit plan can be proposed to create added value for the industries. This study adopts a questionnaire method and the samples will be taken from the top 6 industries in Hsinchu Science-Based Industrial Park, the largest science park in Taiwan. Four major conclusions will be addressed as follows. 1. Hi-tech working women were satisfied with quality and quantity of work and promotion, but unsatisfied with boss’s attitude. They felt equal in reward and punishment, but unequal in getting higher position. 2. Age, marriage, position, seniority and annual income would affect hi-tech female workers’ job fairness and satisfaction. 3. Job fairness is positive correlation with job satisfaction for hi-tech working females. 4. The reasons to cause inequality and dissatisfaction female workers are traditional expectation, females’ values, message received degrees and gender role orientation. The study result is expected to improve gender equity of work and to help establish appropriate labour and other related policies. Lin, Grace TR 林亭汝 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 59 zh-TW |
