| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 體育研究所 === 98 === The study aims to explore the current operating conditions and dilemma of Athletic Classes in Senior High School in Yunlin County, and to present the findings and results as reference to the concerned agencies and interested parties. To fulfill the said goal, this study started with literature review firstly, next administered the visit interview with 15 target persons and collected the data and results information, and then conducted the analysis on the content data and information. The study led to the findings as the follows: 1. Concerning Admissions, two modes were in practice: Admission without Entrance Test by national senior high schools, and Admission through Recommendation and Screening Test by 6-year high schools; and the key athlete items were Athletes, Soft Tennis, Wrestling, Badminton, Basketball, Weightlifting, Volleyball, Teakwood, Baseball; 2. Course Instruction Pace was affected by contests and games and most students showed low motivation to study the academic course subjects; 3. Specific athletic course coaches were mostly taught by PE teachers as acting instructors; 4. Funds relied solely on governmental agency sources, without any support or sponsoring from private businesses; 5. Some specialty courses used out-of-campus facilities; and 6: Further education choices were confined in PE major and the related programs at college. Finally this study provides some suggestions for someone who participates in practical interest and further study.
