Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 運動科學研究所 === 98 === Outstanding sports performance depends on excellent physical fitness. Furthermore, explosive strength is one of the elements of physical fitness. The Aim of this study was to examine changes in muscle power and the velocity of movement following 4 weeks slow ramp and ballistic movement training. 15 fifth grade students with no training experience participated in this study. All participants were randomly assigned to 30% of 1RM slow ramp movement group, 30% of 1RM ballistic movement group, or 10% of 1RM ballistic movement group. Statistical analysis was using one-way ANOVA to examine the difference between pre-test and post-test. The results indicated that: 1. 30% of 1RM ballistic movement training could improve the velocity of movement. 2. 10% of 1RM ballistic movement training could enhance the root mean square EMG value. 3. All groups’ long jump distance and maximum strength were improved.
