The paper presents the development and validation process of a hospital web site quality measuring with 10 core dimensions: Informational fit-to-task; tailored Communications; trust; ease of understanding; visual appeal; innovativeness; emotional appeal; consistent image; on-line completeness; relative advantage. The instrument was tested with a sample of 106 hospital web users in late 2009. The research result shows that hospital web site quality is positively correlated with user satisfaction and intension to reuse. Implications and recommended courses of action are given for hospital web site managers as well as designers. Keywords: Web site quality, instrument development
