Although documents stand for marriage premium, most research methods use least square for calculation. This research concerns with Manpower Utilization Survey in 2005, from Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics, which takes the methodology of quantile regression for estimating the wage rate function by selecting bootstrapping samples. Furthermore, Machado and Mata (2005) counterfactual decomposition was also used to analyze covariates, coefficients, and single characteristics affecting wage rate distribution. The finding of this study shows that the wage inequality of married male is mainly attributed to experience, seniority, managers, and the public sectors.
