碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 社會政策與社會工作學系 === 98 === The opening of this story happened at a youth residential placement of Taiwan, Green-Tea, Black-Mamba, Lion, and Coke who had different personality joined the dream group. Through the story of these teenagers who appreciated dream to see their transformation, and know the leadership challenge of group leader. Going a step further, the most important issue was that to realize the influence of dream group and know how it happened, on the other hand, pond the application of dream group with juvenile delinquents. Working with involuntary clients as juvenile delinquents, on the premise of respect people’s dignity and values, it is a significant issue for social workers that how to relieve their resistance and defense, help them to face their own problem in a comfortable and acceptable way. This research introduced a new method— The Montague Ullman Experiential Dream Group. In the dream group, everyone determines the level of sharing by himself, including to be a dreamer or not; the relationship is equal, no one functions as a therapist, the characteristics of the leader likes friend; everyone tries to create and maintain an atmosphere of safety and uncritical, all the characteristics of the group are contributive to engage and develop relationship of trust between worker and juvenile delinquents. On the other hand, since the nature of dream is honest and healing, dream reflects the truth of dreamer’s mind, when someone is appreciating his dream, he can review the challenge and issue of life in a different way by dream, therefore, waking up the capacity of introspection without external intervention, inspiring dreamer’s inner power, as a result, pushing himself to change. As the group leader and researcher simultaneously I was, this research not only written these four teenagers’ growth down, but also kept track of my self-healing journey.
