Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 電機工程學系碩博士班 === 98 === The efftct of enhancing transdermal drug delivery (TDD) by electroporation (EP) is widely applied and researched in medical science. However, most of electroporators are huge, heavy, and high price for experiment or medical treatment, and also rely on fixed power supply. To solve this problem, in this thesis, we developed a light and low price mini-electroporator which is also a portable and convenient medical equipment. Besides 3-key design on user interface of the equipment, it also has some helpful function designs, for example, accessing memory card, real time clock, or circuit for monitoring batteries. All these designs can improve main and secondary functions of the equipment, and are useful when users are operating, monitoring, or recording the system. Although EP was proved that it could enhance TDD effectively, researchers are still trying to make a synergy effect with EP by physical and chemical ways. Therefore, when designing the mini-electroporator, we try to put in a heating function and attempt to redouble TDD with EP. The heating function can also make up the limited strength of the electric pulsed field because of the security consideration.
