Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 電機工程學系碩博士班 === 98 === This thesis prensents the integration of the field programmable gate array with system-on-a-chip for intelligent home appliance energy-management design and applications. Thanks to the extensibility of field programmable gate array as well as the flexibility of chip design, the thesis has exhibited their benefits to the proposed design, which is further cooperated with measurement loop and load management module to develop a home-appliance energy-management platform. Besides, since the developed system has taken the demand response into considerations, this proposed system is found to own the features of both electrical safety and energy conservation. In order to confirm the feasibility and practicality of the method, it has been simulated and tested under different scenarios. From the test results, they have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed system on demand management and home appliance supervision applications. This proposed approach is meanwhile beneficial to serve as the reference for future smart grid development.
