This research utilized solar PV system and DC driver high-efficiency water pumps to set up hydroponics and aquaponics, which is a symbiotic cultivation of plants and aquatic animals in a reciprocity environment. This study shows that the electrical equipment and the environment control technology adopted in the aquaponic system are economical. The experiment data shows that , with hydroponics and auqaponics, energy is saved, ecological equilibrium is maintained and resources are reused.
