Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立勤益科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 98 === LED optical lens is a transparent integrated secondary optical element with both deflection and total inner reflection (TIR). The light rays emitted from the LED pass through a focusing lens and are converged within a smaller region to increase the illuminance of the optical system. This study investigates the effect of change in geometry of a optical lens on the lighting characteristics of the system. The geometrical structure of the optical lens for commercial CREE XRE Q5 LED was optimized to identify the optimized illuminance distribution of the optical system. The result revealed that the maximum illuminance of the LED light source with the optical lens is 3.01 times that without light-guide cup; with both TIR and deflection surfaces optimized the factor can be improved to 8.76. Meanwhile, the average illuminance at the target area for the optimized geometrical structure is increased to 713.913lux, which meets the indoor lighting standards.
