It was the leaders of the Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) meeting again. Since 1945’s "Chongqing conversations", sixty years have past. "Lian Hu talks" brought the new situation on the Cross-Strait relation and communication of political parties .
The fifth vision of "Lian Hu talks" established communication platform between two parties, it makes " The Third Cooperation between KMT and CCP " come true. There are two meetings of the two parties every year, they could communicate face-to-face, deepen the understanding of each other and expand their cooperation. The third time is a genuine mutual need, equal cooperation, and different from the twice in the past. In the past two times, their cooperation was forced to defeat the common enemy for the purpose. It starts from both sides need and constructs for the purpose of peace across the Taiwan Strait. It is a long-term objective and will reach peace finally.
Now it is the relations improved and breakthrough moment between the Cross-Strait. Governments should seize this historic opportunity and face up to the Cross-Strait political reality. With the whole China''s cognition, both sides should take interactive mutual recognition, set up institutional mechanisms for consultation and negotiation. Go for the peace of the Cross-Strait.
The development of "Third Cooperation" brings about genuine concern and cooperation. Until now it dissolves the hostilities of each other gradually. It brings the development opportunities, true peace and security for Taiwan.
