Leaves using Chlorophyll Fluorescence 利用葉綠素螢光反應偵測芒果葉片對低溫的敏感性 Debrah Lily C. Lao 劉百合 碩士 國立中興大學 園藝學系所 98 Abstract To determine the relationship between the responses of different mango cultivars exposed to varying chilling temperatures, the chlorophyll fluorescence of excised mango leaves were used aiming to differentiate their behavior under low temperarture stress. Leaves were exposed to seven temperature regimes starting from 25o, serving as the optimum temperature. Followed by chilling temperatures at 12o, 9o, 6o, 3o, 1o and a freezing temperature at -3oC. The flushing position and leaf maturity were quantitative variables used to compare the Fv/Fm ratio in addition to temperature, cultivar and storage period. Results showed that there was a significant decrease in Fv/Fm ratio upon a drastic change to a chilling temperature at 12oC. ‘Mahachanok’ cultivar showed the lowest Fv/Fm ratio while ‘Jin Huang’ had statistically higher followed by ‘Haden’ and ‘Irwin’. Mature leaves were more tolerant than young leaves to low temperature treatment. In general, the flushing position between cultivars indicated two scenarios for the influence of leaf age on individual chilling behavior. Such that in ‘Jin Huang’, the older the leaves the more tolerant it is to the low temperature stress but in ‘Mahachanok’ were found to be more sensitive. These data was able to identify that ‘Jin Huang’, ‘Haden’ and ‘Irwin’ were more chilling tolerant but ‘Mahachanok’ as chilling sensitive. Shiesh Ching-Chang 謝慶昌 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 62 en_US
