To our literature review, high repetitive tasks would possibly cause WMSDs especially while performing the tasks for a long term. This study, therefore, explored the gas-cylinder rolling tasks, in a technology company in Taiwan, through an integrated tool by NMQ, RULA, and posture recording. Results show that three of four participants subjectively responded discomfort on the upper extremities and attributed that to the rolling tasks. Result from RULA also shows that it is of need to further improve the task condition as soon as possible. Moreover, analysis in right wrist shows that radial deviation and extension of the joint were severe with 17° and 70°, respectively, those are nearly limits of wrist’s range of motion. Similar phenomena can also be found in the left wrist. Rolling tasks were seldom investigated in the previous studies and the findings from this case study would therefore be considered as a reference to the design and the job training for the tasks.
