This action research studies the issues the researcher as a kindergarten teacher faces when conducting curriculum of health, gratitude, and solicitude. Issues include how to come out teaching plan, how to design teaching material & curriculum, as well as how to execute. Data Collection is through photography, interview, document review/retrospect, and literature study. Promising results are: 1) by guiding through story telling, kindergarteners can be motivated to share its own opinions during the group discussion. 2) In health care education, teacher’s DIY teaching materials can not only match the curriculum but also allow the kids to learn from doing, promoting the correct concept of health care. 3) Self-grown/motivated gratitude and solicitude can be inspired though various experiencing activities. In short, outcomes of this action research can facilitate the professional growth of kindergarten teachers in instruction implement design, curriculum design, DIY teaching material design, and can be used as guidelines when conducting health and character education at kindergartens.
