In the surface plasmon resonance detection system, a linear polarized light beam is coupled by a prism and then incident into one 50nm thick metal thin film. When the incident angle equals to the surface plasmon resonance angle, the incident energy will be absorbed by the metal thin film and converted to surface plasmon resonance. It brings to that the reflectance is greatly declined. The work principle of the surface plasmon resonance detection system is that the metal film of the sensor attaches the test samples in the solution to arise a change once the resonance condition is satisfied. According to the changed parameter of the resonance condition in the detection, the detection system can be classified as, resonance wavelength, resonance intensity type systems, etc. Today most surface plasmon resonance detection systems used in researches are resonance angle type and produced by BIAcore company. The systems described above all have some common defects. (1) The thickness of the metal film must be very precise, around 50nm. Therefore, the yield efficiency of surface plasmon resonance detection chip is not high. Moreover, it is not easy to keep the metal film in a good condition, and the chip only can be used once resulting in the increase of cost. (2) They cannot do multi-points detection and the detection amount is less. Also, it can not be used to detect the interaction between different organisms. According to the defects described above, we are going to produce a having the recyclable detection chip which has less influence on metal film in this project. The design of this multichannel surface plasmon resonance detection systems adopts the combination (1)Kretschmann configuration attenuated total-reflection coupling system, and (2) planar substrate optical waveguide to overcome the defects of the defects of traditional surface plasmon resonance detection system, and help the industry to build up low cost multichannel surface plasmon resonance detection systems. 唐謙仁 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 73 zh-TW |
