Summary:碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 精密機電工程研究所 === 99 === Due to energy shortages in recent years and environmental pollution as well as damage from usage of fossil fuels and nuclear energy, all nations are actively promoting the green energy for long-term survival purpose. Amongst various green energies, the wind energy posts the highest potential long-term usage. Wind is an inexhaustible material with high energy production capacity, which is more than the combined produced energy from solid and liquid fuel energy. Wind turbine manufacturers around the world design various types of wind turbines such as vertical axis type, horizontal axis type, etc. However, in order to minimize the risks of utilizing wind turbines, the methodology proposed by this project can be used as a guideline for effectively evaluating the reliability and design criteria of wind turbines.
