碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 99 === Recently, with the progress of the people’s tourism and recreation consumption con-sciousness, local governments start developing landscapes and tourism industry and cooperate with reconstruction of ecological environment in traditional districts in order to establish the new paradigm of paragenesis between human beings and environment. In the Japanese Colonial Period, from the perspectives of history and culture, Jhudong Township of Hsinchu County played a role to approach indigenous tribes and “common historic memory” of artistic activities behind the mountain (generally including Jianshih and Wufong). It demonstrates the significant cultural assets for community residents and local landscapes. Besides, it is the “cultural and ar-tistic” origin of Hsinchu County to preserve the shared historic memory. Thus, this study aims to probe into urban-countryside landscape and ecotourism strategy of Jhudong Township in or-der to demonstrate the unique culture and industrial landscape in Jhudong Township. First of all, by literature review, the researcher collects and reorganizes secondary data as theoretical base of this study. According to economy, environment and life pattern, the questionnaire is designed. Subsequently, based on questionnaire outcomes, the theme and outline of interview are devel-oped and designed and individual depth interview is conducted. Finally, by comparing the key points in interview with the statements of related literatures, the researcher intends to propose the optimal policy of urban-countryside landscape and ecotourism in Jhudong Township as the criterion for local governments and future researchers. With the interpretative statistics of ANOVA, some conclusions are made accordingly as follow: the waterfront eco-landscapes and control of vehicles to the territory significantly affect the behavior factors. Also the expectations of events, view toward the government, re-visit willingness, will to recommend others to visit, length of stay, and amount of consumption will be affected to some degree.
