Description
Summary:碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 工業工程與管理研究所 === 98 === Recently, lots of advanced technologies have been developed in order to achieve the goal of energy-saving and environmental protection. Among these newly invents, the Light Emitting Diode (LED) has the advantages of compact size, fewer energy consumption, lower temperature and longer life, thus it has been proposed as the major light source for future general lighting. However, light sources with improper designed luminaires or allocations may result in glare, un-uniform illuminance and as well as reduced lamp efficiency. Moreover, inadequate lighting conditions may cause eyes fatigue and injuries of vision system for prolonged usage. The purposes of the present study are to analyze the optoelectronic characteristics of liquid cooling LED and to improve lamp efficiency of an existing symmetric down-light lamp through redesigning by lighting design software. First, this study identified the factors affecting the lamp efficiency of an existing symmetric down-light lamp. Next, the best design parameters of the symmetric down-light lamp were obtained by lighting simulation. Finally, one room was built up to simulate lighting effects of the lamp by calculating the illumination levels and glare indexes in terms of visual comfort probabilities. The results of the present research demonstrated that lamp efficiency of this particular lamp was enhanced significantly. In addition, the proposed lamp indicated higher illumination and fewer glare in a simulated room. This study has established a LED luminaire design evaluation model and process and this approach can be used as a reference framework for design and development of the other LED lamps.
