Using recycled construction waste helps preserving natural resources and also creating a promising industry. Since Taiwan is surrounded by ocean and tons of recycled materials are contaminated by chloride ions, the recyclability of construction waste is questionable. According to the national standard of concrete construction and practice, there exists a tolerance threshold value of chloride ions in the fresh and hardened concrete mixes. The more chloride ion found in the concrete mix the higher potential of steel corrosion occurance in the concrete. This research program conducts a series tests on specimens made of course and fine aggregates gathered from two recycle plants at random occasion. The chloride ion content is measured and analyzed according to the Chinese National Standard (CNS14703) methods. A great deal numbers of specimens were prepared during the research period to ensure the reliability of the test and the feasibility of promoting the reuse of recycled construction waste in the new concrete construction. The research results conclude a positive outcome. It is anticipated to publicize the utilization of construction waste as a prudent method to support sustainable development. 王華弘 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 85 zh-TW
