Summary:碩士 === 明道大學 === 課程與教學研究所 === 98 === Textbooks are the mainly source of teaching material for teachers and the source of knowledge for students. However, textbooks are barely to reflect current social issues because society changes. Therefore this research analyzes the comparison the first and the second edition of the textbook which is called “Analyze Japan (日本タテヨコ)” which probes into Japanese culture and is used by most colleges. The purposes are: 1. Find the problems of textbooks of Japanese culture by exploring references of society changes and culture textbooks. 2. uses the view of social changes as the basic idea, explore the essence and the kernel from the description about social changes. Furthermore, probing into the social and cultural events in peripheral areas, analyzing how depth of the influence. This research uses technology, impression value, competition and contradiction, political system, economical system and social structure to analysis and comparison. The conclusions are: 1. Many textbooks are revised by the influence of society changes. 2. Textbooks are at least influenced by the competition and conflict. 3. Textbooks are most influenced by the economic system. 4. There still are much obsolescence of textbook do not be revised.
