Take Taipei City Government as an example, the front-line civil servant-village director has faced increased work load from different departments of Taipei City Government where exists a problem of manpower shortage. Therefore, this study tries to explore the relationships among work role conflict, identity accumulation, others’ acceptance of one’s aspired self, and work role salience. This study has smapled from all the village director in Taipei City Government, and finally collected 334 valid questionnaires.
